Annie Cloth "store" lists on PP as Confidence&Collaboration fashion studio.com

This is TOTALLY fake, and a website for the above cannot even be located.

Elsewhere, I have seen that this "store" is under ChicV.

There are so many fake companies out there.

When huge #'s of complaints are made, why is PayPal siding with the frauds?

I used to completely trust PayPal.  Not any more.

I agree.  Deceptive seller.   Buyer must pay all returned shipping.  If you send without their label back to them, they say the package will not be accepted and will denied acceptance even if sent with tracking, which ends after exiting country.  If you buy something, you can't return it without paying an large fee.

I really wish I saw this thread before I ordered from Annie Cloth. Feeling a bit foolish about this order. Especially since it all hasn't arrived yet.

They did get 1 of 2 packages to me. They responded to my emails asking where items were. Well, one response was to a different customer for a different order - not sure what that was about- it was NOT reassuring at all. Glad I used PP instead of my direct CC#.

It's been over 30 days and my second item has not arrived, they estimated 10-20 days. I emailed and asked for a refund. I'm going to report it on the .gov website contributed above.  I'm not sure if PP's policy can help at all.

Would it be Paypal or my credit card that could help, if they can help?

your credit card company will be helpful.  Paypal will not.

If you haven't already cancelled the remainder  of your order, do so.  You will then have to contact the cc co. and dispute the charges.  It will take awhile to settle.  I just settled today, for an order in October.

Anything you have received or that is actually in transit -- no matter how fraudulent it is compared to the ad used to display it, you are stuck paying for that.  Paypal has had NUMEROUS complaints, but offers no substantial help.  Just words.

Your credit card will not accept that a company is trying to charge you for items you did not receive.

RESOLUTION for me I reported to Paypal that I did not receive what I paid for & attached my email discussion with Annie Cloth to the complaint. Since I had asked for delivery information in my email & they responded with none, then different lengths of time, it was clear they were deceptive. I messaged with Annie Cloth on the PP site, then reported it to my credit card. PP & Capital One discussed it and my CC was credited, PP complaint closed. I never did get those boots anyway.... just glad I got my money back. Capital One Venture Card: just get one.

After much effort, trying to contact Annie Cloth without ever having received a confirmation email, finally realized it's not Annie Cloth but a C&C rip off from China.  China, Nigeria?  This ruins it for me for all the other online stores, how can you trust any of them?  My final answer from C & C was accept a 40% refund from them for items you can't wear or send it back to China for  the cost of $75, more than I paid for the original purchase.  And Paypal calls this a solution?  I've learned my lesson about Paypal, not going to use Paypal if I can avoid it.
