BANDCAMP and PayPal trouble.

After trying for several hours a day, every day for the past couple of weeks or so to set up a business account so I could join up to and be paid through the Bandcamp website I have gotten absolutely nowhere, and it looks like I never will. Bandcamp only allows financial business through PayPal integration, which is a huge shame and I am sure a detriment to them.
After having jumped through all the complicated hoops I am still forbidden from using my PayPal business account which has never seen a single transaction. The only hint of any explanation is this notice:
"Some of your account information is missing, so you can't send or withdraw money right now. If we haven't received the information by 8 Dec 2019, you won't be able to receive money."
...and a thing below that to tick that says to update this information. When I click on that box it does nothing but tell me thanks for updating and nothing ever happens, then it's back to square one where there's a notification on my main PayPal page saying I am forbidden from using my account. It has been like this since the moment I created my account.
Since the automated bot responses of the "resolution" part of Paypal have been of no use whatsoever I tried to speak to an actual human being but that is apparently impossible. Several days ago I somehow landed on this apparently pointless forum where I and many others simply state our problems and receive no actual help from the actual company called PayPal, so this is a pointless waste of time if PayPal offers no help whatsoever through this forum either.
Having wasted my time and after receiving absolutely zero "resolution" from any part of PayPal I am extremely unhappy that I have divulged my financial identity to this company, and after researching the situation elsewhere I can only urge everybody else to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH into the problems a huge number of other people and businesses have had and are having with PayPal. It is shocking to say the least. I will have to take measures now to limit any further involvement with this company even if that means closing down my bank account altogether and moving it somewhere else just to be sure that PayPal doesn't still retain access to my financial identity or money.
Based on my personal experience and research I would say this company is to be completely avoided. Your finances are apparently not safe and they have absolutely zero "customer service". It is a company that charges people for a shoddy service, and as such it is only concerned with making money for itself. Surprise, surprise.
Perhaps as a social response to this absurd monopoly you could show that you are not a bunch of mugs to be taken advantage of by refusing to do business with anyone who offers PayPal as their only online payment solution. This is simply unacceptable. There is nothing associated with PayPal that you can't get or do through non-PayPal means dealing with legitimate businesses who actually care about their customers.

Hi, how did you resolve it? I called the Helpdesk and was informed that this type of transactions (apart from funds from the bandcamp I had only one transaction from the ebay - I was purchasing a jacket...) are risky so I cannot even appeal. So now, after my album release which physical version is only distributed thorugh bandcamp I cannot continue the sell or collect the funds.

No. PayPal haven't been helpful whatsoever about the issue and further research has shown many other people with the same, or even worse, problems. There have been people suddenly locked out of their accounts for no reason, people have lost money, unauthorised payments have been taken and other things. However, I did manage to email Bandcamp asking about alternative payment arrangements (and I know I'm not the only one who is asking) and they have said they are looking into it ASAP so it looks like they are aware of the problems. I'd say just stick it out for now and wait for Bandcamp to offer something other than PP. It would make a difference to a lot of people.

Another reason BandCamp could be forced to offer other payment options. I'm trying to join BandCamp now. They say you need the "business" option on PayPal, but that asks for "legal business name, exactly matching [your] articles of incorporation" and a published physical address that isn't a PO box. These are things someone who would join BandCamp would not have! Perhaps the best I can do is use "personal" and hope they can work around the transaction limits issue in a reasonable manner. And of course, with the decay happening in CDBaby's service, many more are looking into joining BandCamp.
Hope for some clarification, and am asking BandCamp to look into the problem.
