I am a 10-year client of PayPal with a very active business account. I have literally run 100's of thousands of dollars through paypal and was a big fan until recently. When I heard that PayPal was offering a new cryptocurrency buy and sell services I got very excited as I like to buy and sell crypto and their solution seemed clean and simple. The service is right there on the dashboard, no need for a crypto wallet, and so on. So I called the service center and asked how do I get this app on my business account and she told me that I could not get with my business account and that I need to open up a new personal Cash Plus account which we proceed to set up and do over the phone. During this, I also asked if I could send PayPal between these 2 accounts (my Business & Personal accounts she said yes and even walked me through the 1st couple of tries. It worked and I then sent $2000 into my new account and proceeded to buy and sell crypto and was very happy about their new app. Then 3 days later I had $2,260 dollars in my new personal cash plus account and decided to send $1,000 back to my business account and keep buying and selling crypto with my new personal account. As soon as I sent $1000 back to my PayPal business account paypal completely blocked my account for conducting questionable transactions. I called thinking that this was simply a glitch since the only transactions I had conducted were buying crypto from them and sending $1000 to my business paypal - both perfectly normal and allowed for in their terms On the next call to check this I was told that my account and activity was reviewed and is now closed do to this perfectly normal activity that PayPal is now promoting and advertising everywhere. I was also told that I would not be refunded my money for 6 months and that they would send me a $260 dollar check at that time, I said wait a minute you have $1,260of my money they said they did not - I said what about my cryptocurrency I bought through you. They had no idea what I was talking about and took an hour figuring out that I had another $1,000 in their new crypto app (right on the dashboard). I put in complaints and have received no reassurance so far and my $1000 of crypto is now only worth $500 as the account is locked and I can't sell the crypto when I see the prices going down. This money was for Christmas present and travel money to see my family - which is not going to happen now - thanks a lot PayPal really love your new app! So for me this new app and the supports centers inability to even understand it is currently little more than a criminal fraud and theft of people's hard-earned money - and no one should use this ne service with PayPal - Ever! If they do not fix this in the next day or two I will be contacting and make a video about for my and others cryptocurrency YouTube channels and exchanges in order to make sure that everyone is aware of these problems and they don't bait, switch and rob anyone else. ...  Merry Christmas!

Exact same is happening to me at this moment! PayPal will hold your crypto hostage anyway. My fiancé had to convert his crypto to USD to get his money out and lost over $150 in the transfer rate plus PayPal fees. Not trying to sell you anything, just a suggestion. Get your crypto here: coinbase.com/join/doziet_y?src=ios-link Coinbase is an open trading market place that doesn’t require you to convert your money to USD then trade. You a trade one crypto currency for another fr less fees and no PayPal BS!
