Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some confusion on a recent transaction through us. If you received 2 charges and 1 refund, it sounds like one of the transaction did end up refunded out (which may potentially be caused by a billing error or authorization error) and one of them was charged for the purchase you made. Normally the refund will be sent back to the original funding source within 3-4 business days depending on the funding source.
