A friend asked me on Facebook to receive a PayPal payment for them and bank transfer them the money, as they couldn't get their account to work. Once I had transferred the money the payment was marked as unorthorised and the money putting my PayPal account into negative funds. The situation is open for dispute but I don't know how to report that this is fraud

What annoyed me was the pep talks that go with the phone calls, believe me i wont get fooled again, I am still over a grand out of pocket, its been going on for nearly 2 years and PayPal, Facebook, action fraud and bank are no help at all

A lady paid me for my bed I had for sale through fb PayPal. The payment was pending in PayPal for a half an hour so the lady canceled payment. She never took the bed. The next day I woke up and the money was deposited to my bank account, but PayPal showed payment canceled. I called the lady and told her I was paid come pickup the bed. She said she already bought a bed from slumberland. So, she wanted a refund. I told her when I sell the bed I'll pay her. Because I had paid bills when the money cleared thinking she bought the bed. I don't know if the lady used a credit card that was stolen to pay me. I don't want to get her cash or the bed and have her cancel payment to me, and then I've been scammed. Is fb payment through PayPal legit?

This has also happened to me, I have reported it everywhere I feel I could have but the reply from PayPal has been so slow to look into this.

If people are able to transfer unauthorised monies into accounts then your company doesn't sound very secure.

I for one have stopped all my pre-agreed payments through PayPal and once this issue is resolved don't think I have the trust to use PayPal again
