I bought a ticket to an event, via eventbrite and the payment link came through to paypal and was completed via paypal. However once the payment was completed I noticed the name of the paypal payee was not the name of the organiser of the event (which is a major magazine name). The event is going ahed in the next 24 hours and I have emailed them to clarify if I am on the list (but my feeling is it is not) and also this is the email address on the eventbrite advert I bought from, but i do know it is the genuine email address of the company.
I'm sorry to hear that you have received something other than what was described in the listing. You can open a dispute for Significantly Not As Described if you received something that did not match what you purchased.
