Hi I unknowingly purchased an ILLEGAL IPTV package from a person called jack <removed> selling on Shpock UK I thought it was free view channels but realized instantly it was an illegal sky sharing package with premier league football, sky sports channels as-well as pay per view sports My son who works for my local police station clarified this is a highly illegal operation and is stealing content from sky UK I have also been to the police station to report this and have passed over all details regards to this seller I have attempted to request a refund of £25 but the seller no longer responds. I would like to know why this hasn’t been flagged up or reported before being a illegal service I don’t want my money back but can you please take the relevant steps to stop this operation and would like to know how PayPal allows such a service to run? Can someone please let me know what needs doing to stop this fraud going on and stop others being scammed of there money? I have a full log and screenshots of our conversation when purchasing so if you need this please respond with an email address I can send this to The number I purchased off is<removed> and <removed> is the company he is selling under I can’t post the PayPal address paid here I hope to hear from you soon Regards

Hi @Simonallaway

Thanks for contacting and advising of this seller.  While PayPal are always monitoring accounts for such matters and will take actions we appreciate reports like this.  It’s extremely important to report any suspected instances of fraud as you have done as this supply's us information. I'm sure the seller here didn't in the payment like IPTV for example so if hard to often see what they are selling in such websites until honest people like you report it.

Items not received or a potential fraudulent seller are investigated by PayPal.

If you sent a payment but haven’t received what you paid for, or believe the seller to be fraudulent, you should visit our Resolution Center and open a dispute as the first step to help get your problem resolved. This process will allow you to supply securely a report on this matter and aid our investigation.

To open a dispute:

  1. Go to Resolution Centre.
  2. Click Report a Problem.
  3. Select the transaction you want to dispute.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select The item I received was significantly not as described and you can enter the details about the IPTV service.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Follow the instructions to file your dispute

I really thank you for reporting and please stay safe.

I've been trying to get a refund within hrs of applying for one with a particular company selling iptv services which I don't want They continue to ignore requests for a refund and I've already requested again with PayPal to sort this but don't seem to be getting anywhere after I requested a review
