My account was permanently locked for absolutely no reason a few months ago! This has really frustrated me because as far as I'm concerned I followed all the rules. I've to tried contacting paypal but their contact support team is useless as ever - they just keep sending automated messages with no explanation or anything. I was wondering if it was because my account was on a minus for a couple weeks but I payed it off. I'm a struggling student and sometimes having a negative balance happens.. I just find its ridiculous if that is the reason why my account has been locked as thats the only thing I can think of..however, my account was locked months after my balance was even negative so i'm really confused and paypal REFUSING to give me an explanation doesn't help!!
I'm trying to start something up at the moment and UNFORTUNATELY, I NEED paypal for what i'm trying to start and this has just messed up EVERYTHING!! If there was another method I could use, I most definitely would but it seems like paypal is the primary method for many websites etc.
As it stated in the email, its not possible to create a new account with my current bank details so .. Is it possible for me to create a completely new account with new bank details and a new card without being locked again ?? Has this worked for anyone? Please let me know!
I've heard that paypal has been doing this to several people - locking peoples accounts for apparent reason and refusing to offer an explanation! I really hope paypal gets closed down one day for all the frustration they're causing people. Like what kind of crappy service locks their OWN customers accounts without offering an explanation why? Absolutely disgraceful service.

Paypal don't lock accounts for NO reason, why would they do that?
Paypal want you to have an account as that is how they make their MONEY.
If they lock your account then that is not cost effective for them so its only done for a valid reason.
If your account was permanently limited then the only time you can open another one is if your previous limited one was opened in a fake name OR when you were underage.
If it was limited for a violation of paypals policies then if you open another one you will probably find that would be limited as well.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
