PAD Payments

Am looking at buying a digger and the seller wants me to pay using PAD but has sent me an open link that says I’ve got to contact PayPal via  live chat to get the bank details for payment

SCAM.

Firstly the seller has NOTHING to do with PAD (only paypal credit). PAD is a short term 14 day loan given to you by PAYPAL and not the seller.

The seller is still credited upfront as no seller would send an item before being paid and then paypal give you 14 days to pay them back in which time your item 'should' have arrived.

Secondly, I expect they have given you a FAKE telephone number to contact paypal OR fake live chat info or email and it would not be done on paypals site.

Lastly you do NOT use bank transfer for a paypal payment.

Thanks Kernowlass the other thing we noticed was the blue on the PayPal livechat was a lot lighter than the normal PayPal colour
