I was purchasing chips for an online casino at $5 / $10 increments and doing this on a regular basis when PP blocked my account citing malicious activity on my bank account. That was 2 years ago and I never responded back to PP with the info / documents needed to "reopen " my account. I simply stopped using PP. Also note that there was absolutely no balance owed to PP when the account was blocked. Fast forward to the present and I am trying to post an item on E bay to sell and I am unable to post because the PP account is blocked. Here is where the issue lies, PP wants documents from the credit card and bank account statements for the account tied to it but the credit card and bank account were both closed 2 years ago. I have asked PP to allow me to simply delete the original card and bank account tied to it and I will provide a new card and bank account info since I owe PP nothing , the account has a zero balance. I keep getting the same response , they want documents & paperwork for a closed account from 2 years ago to unlock my account. I explained that I do not have these documents and that I no longer bank with that same bank and keep getting the same response back, until you provide us with this documentation your account will remain blocked. I'm not sure if the responses from PP are coming from a person or machine , I just know this is preventing me from earning money by not allowing me to sell items on E bay. I also tried opening a second PP account, it blocked me from doing that as well. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
