Reborn Doll Shop SCAM

How many people have been scammed by <removed> or another similar website? I am beyond FURIOUS that PayPal will not settle the dispute in my favor! The doll I received was a cheap $5 doll that I could have picked up at Walmart. I feel like PayPal is part of this scam because they have so many disputes about this website, but they continue to partner with them and allow sales to happen and people to be scammed. Well, guess what PayPal? I won't stop until I get my refund!

Can anyone tell me if this site is the same as the onde\

Can anyone tell me if this store is the same one you're talking about?  https://www.reborndollsshop.com/

This is a note they have on their site to "protect' customers against scams

I read to do a charge back with your bank. Not sure how but I will be calling my bank to notify them of the situation if PayPal or the seller didn't provide me with a return label and tracking info. We should all do that, it hurts the sellers reputation and the bank instead it with PayPal. And PayPal charges the seller a fee for the bank getting involved because the bank charges PayPal. We as a paying consumer need to be heard!!!!

Problem is that they offered me a full refund, but you have to send the trash back to them. The cost is a minimum of $32. So even if you get your money, you don't really get it.

Reborn Doll Shop (www.reborndollsshop.com)

This is definitely a huge scam!!!!! I just received my doll today and it is a cheap, junky $10 doll. Definitely not the item that I selected and paid nearly $90 for. Stay far, FAR away from this website. I am absolutely sick to my stomach right now. This was supposed to be a huge surprise birthday gift for my daughter this weekend. Not going to happen now and I bet I am out all of that money too. SO UPSET AND FRUSTRATED!!!!

Noticed all this info 2 hours after daughter ordered. Tried to cancel at 9 pm and at 5 am they said they could not cancel order. Have not received yet...so should I refuse to sign? Has anyone gotten a refund without out having to spend more money to ship it back?

I think you'll be out the money. I didn't have to sign for the stupid doll and I wasn't able to refuse it as they left it in the porch. I bought one on Amazon because my daughter was in tears when that one arrived. She is in love with the one I got her from Amazon. I would highly recommend but they do cost about $300 or more but it's worth it. Just look in the description detail and make sure it states silicone and it will state to apply baby powder so often to keep it from getting sticky. My daughter is in love with it and it came fast. And at least Amazon stands behind their customers, unlike PayPal from what I have been reading. Im still dealing with trying to get them to pay return shipping expenses but they will not agree.

I have also been scammed by these **bleep** and am livid!

I thought it was a reputable USA-based company from looking at the website.  During the Black Friday weekend in November the website stated that if you ordered that week the items would be with you for Christmas.   I am UK based and was reassured of this and paid £80 for a doll plus a further £10 upgrade.   Despite my many messages the doll still hasn’t been made just over a week before a Christmas.   They kept saying I would have it for Christmas and I kept pointing out the blatantly obvious that I wouldn’t !   They finally admitted that it would not be with me and I demanded a refund.  They are being silly ***** about the refund saying I had to have demanded a refund within 24 hours of placing the order.  I have pointed out that they are in breach of their contract with me as they haven’t maintained their side by making and shipping out in time.   They just say that they hadn’t anticipated the amount of orders they would receive over Black Friday and it would arrive eventually!   Greedy ******s.  In addition the very fact that they are based in China pretending to be in the US is unbelievable.   This is my daughters only gift from us and all she wanted so I now have to fork out for an emergency doll from the UK and paid over the odds.   Has anyone managed to get a refund from them in this position?

I unfortunately fell victim after doing some research too late. My daughter has been asking for a reborn doll for a few years, I always thought what most probably think is, “no way in hell am I paying that much for a toy that will be forgotten about in a month.” Since she’s been asking for so long and constantly watches the videos about them I thought okay and low and behold here’s a site that seems legit and reputable and affordable! I ordered what I thought would be an adorable doll for $133 at the beginning of the month and am still waiting. After watching videos of people opening boxes from this company I ordered another doll from a different site that came within a few days and I’m beyond thrilled with the doll I got from them but am dreading opening (if I ever get this doll) the box from this company. HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS!? This has been an ongoing problem how are they not being shut down??? Just because they are in China why can’t we blow this up more and make their scam more public and get them shut down so more people don’t fall victim and more kids hearts aren’t broken from their greediness!
