Received a Fake Prada Bag Off Depop

I ordered a Prada bag off Depop for 450$ that the seller verified was authentic, even posting a photo of an authenticity card. However, when the bag arrived it is clearly a counterfeit, and the back of the authenticity card has no information on it, indicating it is also fake. I have been messaging the seller but she isn't responding to me....what is the likelihood that if I file a dispute PayPal will rule in my favor?? Please help, I am desperate!

You can file a dispute for item received but not as described > put in as much information as you can and then escalate to a claim before 20 days post opening the dispute or it will time out. Once escalated paypal will review and make a decision. You may well win but you would probably have to return the item back to the seller first before you got a refund, (trackable to prove delivery), so make sure you have activated the below link to claim back some of that return shipping cost.

However if you provide written proof on company headed paper from a shop / company that sold / made that item OR trading standards and stated you had that proof when you open the dispute then you may not have had to return the item. As its against the law to sell fakes Paypal often don't expect you to return fake goods BUT the onus is on your to prove its fake first. (Otherwise every buyer would claim something was fake to save having to return it). However that only really applies if the seller is in the same country as you as in some countries ie China for example its not against the law to sell fakes.
