Hello, I wanted to purchase something from Ali express however I noticed that the URL link said sandbox.PayPal and I was unsure if it was the correct link as I tried to enter my email and password and it said error. So then I tried to create a new PayPal account on the link using the url link when I tried to pay it did not work. So now I am scared that it may have been fraud. This has never happened to me, usually when I pay for an item on ali express it directs me to PayPal and I am able to log in.

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry that you had a scare! It sounds like the website designer may have accidentally linked to the testing site rather than the live site when they put together their website. The sandbox is a place that developers can test before posting their website code referencing the live site. 

It would not have been necessary to make a new account. If you ever think your password has been compromised, you can always change your password, which is much easier than creating and verifying a new account.
