PayPal has locked my account due to “suspecious activity”. I’ve already confirmed that the I did make the purchases. Not good enough. They want me to Secure My Account. I’ve uploaded my DL, answered security questions, additional info & changed my password. I’ve called them & asked them to call me. Hung up after hour on hold. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?? HELP? Thank you.

You're going to need to call PayPal back and talk to a rep.

 

To prevent this from happening again, only log into PayPal from your home internet or mobile internet provider. Don't log into your account over a public wifi connection. You should also limit logging into your account from only two devices; one desktop/laptop, and one phone/tablet. Don't let other people log into their PayPal account with your phone or computer, and never log into your account over a VPN provider.

 

Here is a PayPal link with details on securing your account with a Security Key. When you get your account unlocked and set up a security key, it will require an sms be sent to your phone every time you log into your account.
