Trying to dispute scam sale from Onhui Technology Co. Ltd.

I bought a lamp from a Chinese company who have a legitimate-looking website that accepts PayPal payments, but go under the name of Onhui Technology Co,. Ltd. for transactions — they have just delivered me a $5 USB plugin light rather than the $30 lamp I was expecting.

The problem was, when it didn't arrive I disputed it and they gave me a tracking number. I understand now that they must have posted this cheap little light in order to have a tracking number to provide me with so I'd see a package was on its way to me and close the dispute. When I tried to raise an issue I was only given the options of "unauthorised activity." I've filed under this as I can also see there have been numerous attempts to add gift card addresses since my purchase with Onhui Technology Co,. Ltd, but I still want the refund. Has anyone else had this issue?

I got a full refund from Paypal after ordering a folding table and getting one single pillowcase. Luckily I kept the pillowcase and the packaging yo prove that what was shipped to me was not what I ordered. PayPal made me jump through a lot of hoops , to the point if requiring me to report Onhui for Fraud through the local police department. Once I did this and supplied Paypal with the proof of filing the fraud complaint they gave me a refund BUT DIDNT RESCIND THEIR ABILITY TO USE PAYPAL AND SCAM OTHERS. PayPal is enabling these scammers, and you have to be really persistent to get your money back. They rely upon wearing you down so you just walk away from the money. Don't do it!!!!

I agree. Where did you see the ad that you ordered from, if I might ask? I saw mine on FB. I have since received a full refund after I called and spoke to a PayPal agent. He was very helpful, and he didn't hesitate to issue a refund when he saw the name of the company. He said he had seen it before multiple times.

I purchased 4 countertop ice makers. I never received them. I did receive a cheap **bleep** watch I never ordered with no packing slip or return address that I could read. When I contacted the company to find anout ice makers they sent an emsil with a tracking number and said it my order should arrive in 25-30 days. (Mind you this was after I had already received the watch.) So I waited the 30 days and still nothing. So I contacted them again. This time when they replied they said I had already received my order. So I disputed it with Paypal, but it was denied because they had the tracking info from the cheap bleep watch. Pay pal never got what I ordered as nd compared it to what was shipped. A watch is a few ounces, an ice maker is pounds. They could have figured out I was telling the truth that I HAD NOT received what I ordered and paid for. So frustrated. They were suppose to be Christmas gifts for my kids.

I too suffered with this company sending for a folding workbench and getting small bits instead .I have now encountered this scam again with a Chinese company

You won’t unfortunately.. I’m still shocked they can still use PayPal! They’re a complete scam … Sorry.. been there done that …
