Unable to pay negative balance due to account limitation

Recently I bought a product with a savings account. Only a few days after purchase did I learn that the account, at least from this specific bank I'm using, can't be used in a way that is similar to a checking's, even on PayPal. Due to that, the transaction gets registered as a negative balance (and the savings account was unlinked).

A few days later, I got a checking's account and registered it to Paypal. Unfortunately, because I wasn't able to pay off the balance in time, my account got "limited". I submitted in the necessary documents to re-activate my account (State ID and confirming my cards), but when it comes to paying the negative balance, my registered debit card was seemingly unlisted in the "resolve balance" prompt. I tried to re-register the card in the prompt, and although the prompt said that the registration was successful, the card still remains unlisted! Even when trying to link my bank account, I'm given an error.

I believe that the limitations of my account are hindering my ability to re-activate the account, which is quite frustrating. I would appreciate a solution to this problem, as it seems contradictory to require me to repay my negative balance when the site disables my ability to pay at all!

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Or mail a cheque as per link.

5. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.

Thanks for the help. I actually have gotten this problem solved through option 3. It is quite unusual that an account limitation prevents me from paying off a negative balance to unlock the account
