Unauthorized purchase at PAYPAL DIGITALRIVE AV; Can't file dispute

I just received a message from my bank about a successful transaction from PAYPAL DIGITALRIVE AV deducting 39.06 from my account. I did not authorize this nor did I make any recent purchases and with no prior notice as well. I've contacted my bank and have blocked my card but I can't seem to find this transaction on my PayPal account so I can't file a dispute because of this. I've not used my PayPal in months and this transaction is not in my PayPal's history.

 

Is there any way for me to get my money back? Or its just long gone now? Either way, is there a solution so that this can never happen again?

Hi,

 

Please report it to your bank card as unauthorized and they will in turn get in touch with PayPal and the merchant if you are only seeing transaction in your bank card account.
