I ordered a left ear hearing aid from Widersound.com on 21 April 2020.
By 6 May I received a tracking number and PayPal paid the vendor based on their shipping the item. Unfortunately the tracking number was completely fraudulent.
This company says on their website that they are based in the USA - that is a LIE. They are a China-based company and manufactures and ships from CHINA!
Their website says they ship immediately and shipping is on-time. That is another LIE. They ship by the cheapest (and slowest) method which took six weeks until the product arrived. 6 June 2020.
Their website says their customer support responds to e-mails within a day. That is a LIE. I normally waited between three and five days - sometimes more - for a response from Widersound.com support.
Once I opened the product I found I had been shipped a RIGHT ear hearing aid. I ordered a LEFT ear hearing aid. I immediately contacted Widersound customer support and after eleven days with no response I was asked to send a photo of the earpiece I received. I immediately responded with a photo. That was 17 June 2020 and I have not heard from them since then. Repeated e-mails (They have no phone contact - it goes to voicemail which refers you back to e-mail) have gone unanswered.
This company is a fraud and PayPal should not do business with them! PayPal gives a company legitimacy and this company is FAR from legitimate!
PayPal said they could not resolve my problem with this company, but did credit my account for what I paid. They were more than honorable in their dealing with me and I appreciate their support. I just think they should cut their ties with this fraudulent company!
