online shop called beautiful peace shop selling masks a scam!

I ordered these Golden Girls face masks from a company called Beautiful Peace Shop advertising on Facebook. <removed>

The masks were ordered on 5/14. A few weeks later, they sent out tracking on a website called 17track.net but the info seems fake. It is not updated regularly and the last updated info on the tracking site says that the package has cleared customs and has been in Compton, CA since 5/26. Seems like these scammers generate the fake tracking information on this website so they are not obligated to give you a refund. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!

I submitted a report on Paypal and it is under investigation. Hoping for a refund but not too hopeful since Paypal does not seem to be proactive in busting these online scammers. Just don't buy from this website!!!

Same here. When I contacted them they tried to tell me it was left in my mail box. The company is a total scam.

Thank you for posting this. I was looking at those Golden Girls masks and their banner said they've recently changed their name to shopabbi.com. That sent up a red flag to me because shady companies will change names frequently to distance themselves from their poor reviews, so I Googled their old name to see if they were legit. Glad I haven't ordered.

I just emailed them yesterday about this very issue. I ordered them 5/13 and the tracking still shows it's in China. They responded saying they will reship a duplicate of my order Express and that when I get the first order to keep it as a gift. If I haven't received my order in the next coming weeks I'm filing a complaint and seeing if I can get a refund. Horrible.

Same here!  I've contacted them 3 times, and each time they respond and say there's a delay because of covid (totally understand) but it's been 2 months now.  They responded yesterday that it's in San Francisco, but the USPS tracker says it's waiting in Atlanta.  I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but it seems a little fishy.

My order was placed on May 7. I've emailed them several times, and each time they have insisted the delays were due to covid-19. The last time, they said that out of generosity, they'd send me a new shipment. (This doesn't make sense if the first shipment was on the docks, as they swore, but delayed. Why would a second shipment arrive faster?) I have asked for a refund each time, not replacement items and not explanations, and they will not offer it. It is now July 27. Since I placed this order, I have shopped for a mortgage, put an offer on a house, closed, and moved to a new address. I don't believe for a second there is an actual shipment, but if there were, it wouldn't even come to the correct house at this point. This company needs to be investigated and shut down. And we deserve refunds.

I have virtually the same experience everyone else has had. It seem the scammers actually stole the name and logo from an actual Etsy seller and they have a fraud warning about them on their page. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeautifulPeaceShop It now seems the scammers have changed their address to, https://neit-store.onshopbase.com/ I placed my order 5/9 and my tracking number never showed that it left China. I opened a case in June and a few days later the scammers sent me an email apologizing and said they would give me a refund if I cancel my case. I then asked PayPal if I should and was told no because if they do not refund, I cannot open another case. I sent another email asking for the refund first. Either way, I am hoping PayPal will do the right thing and give my money back. It's been around 6 weeks since I opened the case. Has anyone else gotten a refund or had an open case resolved? Good luck everyone!

I ordered from them back in may and just received my order last week. So.... not exactly a scam but they are not exactly forthcoming with that they take 2 weeks to even ship anything and that it is coming from china as slowly as possible.

Well, they did steal a legitimate business' name and logo and are continually changing their web address. Something isn't right about the situation.

I had the same issue and lost the tracking email as well. I chalked it up to a loss and then, yesterday, after four months of waiting, I received the three masks I ordered.
