im selling a car on gumtree. buyer says he's paid to my account via paypal. i have email receipt but buyer wants me to pay 1500$ to a UK address before paypal will release that money into my bank account. why cant i have the money in my account first? sounds like a scam. ive never used paypal, didnt know i even had the account. is this typical practice?
