Hi,

I tried to purchase 10 gramophones from a seller on Alibaba,(Gold member, safety checked etc etc.)

I paid through paypal to the account in India and have received nothing.Products should of arrived 4 weeks ago and still no sign as they now problems with cargo at airport.

I opened a dispute and escalated to a claim which has not reached outcome yet but am desperate for my money back now as had to borrow to buy.Was wondering if i can get a chargeback?I paid with a visa debit card.

The other thing is in the claim it now says "goods are in transit".

I doubt this is true as previously the fed-ex number provided by seller turned out to be just a shipment initiation.

Fed ex confirmed it had not even been picked up.

The seller has provided another of these to paypal(coincidentaly the same number i got) so it looks like they have sent it to paypal.

Paypal have now said they will review when products have arrived-they wont i  know it!!!HELP PLEASE!!!

You get 45 days to open an item not received dispute with PayPal. If the time has passed you have no comeback. If you are within 45 days file an item not received dispute.

You get 20 days to escalate the dispute to a claim.

PayPal request details from the seller of the tracking, if they cannot prove delivery you are refunded in full all that you initially paid providing you paid for goods and not via send money and chose the personal payment route.

Buying from China is fraught with problems, i trust you factored in the import taxes and duty.
