What happens if the seller does not respond by the deadline Paypal set?

So I opened up a claim 11 days ago for a purchase which the seller has not refunded me for as the item was faulty. The deadline for him to respond to Paypal was yesterday and he hasnt responded, so could someone please tell me wha happens now? will Paypal refund me?

Have you escalated the case?
If the seller doesnt respond you'll probably be refunded but the quicker you escalate the quicker it will be

Hi,
You and the seller have 20 days from the date the dispute was opened to resolve your issue and escalate to a claim, if a claim is put forth by either you or the seller, the seller has 10 days in which to give PayPal all the information they ask for. If the seller has NOT responded at all, and you escalate to a claim, the above applies; if the seller has NOT responded BUT you do NOT escalate to a claim, PayPal will close the dispute without getting involved.
If you have escalated the dispute to a claim, and the seller does not respond to PayPal within the timeframe set, PayPal will decide in your favour and refund you the money.

Then hopefully they should make their decision any day now, to try speed things up you could call them, dont select any options just hold on until you speak to someone

Im just coming up to a deadline Paypal set when I escalated a case to a claim against a non responsive seller and judging by their lack of responses to my communication attempts I expect them to also ignore PayPal. I'd like to know therefore if any of you received your money direct from PayPal and if so, how long did it take and did you have to prompt PayPal once the deadline passed?

Once the deadline has been reached paypal will review / refund within the next 48 hours.
