Donations with TEXT Link ONLY! No Button

We want a text link to accept donations and payments that we can put into e-mails and other places that do not allow HTML or forms.

How do we do this?

After going through the button creation process, there is an option to copy the Website button HTML code or copy an e-mail text link.  Actually, you can copy and use both, if you wish.  I use the button on the Website and use the text for e-mail, social media sites, etc.  I do not know of a way to create the text link without going through the button creation process, since it configures the PayPal processing options.

None of my copy and pastes are creating a  button nor text that serves as a link.  Just trying to create a donate button for ease of fund raising in emails.  Help.  Frustrated.

Hey Hethyrred, sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

I'm not entirely sure from your description, but here's what could be happening. If you have a drop-down option on the button (i.e. Option 1- $XXX, Option 2 $XX, Option 3 $X), our system doesn't give the option for an email link.

This is because when your customer clicks on that link, it takes them directly to PayPal with all of the purchase info filled in. They wouldn't have a way to select from that drop-down from the link, therefore it doesn't give the option.

Hopefully this answers your question.
