I'm sure this is a simple problem, but I'm not getting the donors mailing addresses with the donations. I need them to send thank you notes. I don't use the DONATE Button. Is that a factor?
Thanks for your help.

When creating a button, one option is to check is whether or not you want to receive the Donor's address. Using he Donate button with the receive addresses option active works fine. I also get addresses if I use the e-mail HTML code option for direct access rather than the Website button. Getting either the actual button code or the e-mail code requires going through the button creation process.
I do not know if there is a way to get addresses without going through button creation. Haven't tried any other process.

We're having the same issue. We just switched away from using a PayPal donate dutton to using a civiCRM contribution page, and now we aren't getting addresses for our donors. Contributions have also changed from being listed as 'donations' to 'payments.' Any word on solutions that people have found would be useful.
