Everyone please be advised that there is a scam called The Hollywood Book Festival going on right now. (Not to be confused with the legitimate West Hollywood Book Fair)
The Hollywood Book Festival charges an entry fee of $75, through the mail or through PayPal to enter the contest and offer a prize of $1,500.00 They also offer to have your work seen by Hollywood producers. The problem is: there is no festival. There is no address for the event and no set date. They claim to have past events and even post previous winners, but it is all bogus. They have been running this scam every year and also use several other names for their contests as well. To see for yourself, here is their web site
