I was unhappy with Battlefield 2042 for PC. EA wouldn't refund me after 24 hours. I requested refund through PayPal. About 3 weeks later PayPal sided with me and refunded me the money. Great. Grand. Wonderful...until the next morning.
I woke up today with an email from EA telling my account was banned due to a chargeback. All EA games wont work now on my PC and multiple consoles. How is this even legal? I paid for all the games and add-ons and now they're banning me because I went through PayPal for a refund.
I filed with EA about the ban, hopefully they'll unban me but its not looking good. Not sure what route ill take if they deny but there's no way I can let them just ban me after being an EA game buyer since the Sega Genesis days up to Series X, PS5 and PC. Seems shady, illegal and unfair. No warning or anything.
