EToro to PayPal

I used my credit card via PayPal to fund my activity on EToro, now I have used my savings to pay the credit card balance. When I come to withdraw funds from eToro it will bounce straight from PayPal to the credit card balance: which I don't want. How do I stop the money from automatically exiting my PayPal account so I can manually transfer it to my current account? Cheers! PS - What would happen if I de-linked the original credit card?

If you have made a payment from PayPal to eToro and funded the payment with a credit card, the only way the payment would go back to the original funding source would be if eToro refund the original payment.

I would think that if you are sending a separate payment from eToro to PayPal, this should credit directly to your PayPal balance. Then you can withdraw the funds to your bank account if you wish.

Related to this, will Paypal charge fees on receiving money from eToro? I am withdrawing some funds from there and don't really want to be hit with 3% charges...

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

This would depend on how eToro send the money to you. If they send you a commercial payment to your PayPal account, you will pay a fee for this. If they use another method there may not be a fee. I would recommend reaching out to them directly to find out more.
