Hello,
I have recenlty e-mailed PayPal asking them to clarify some fees as they dont see correct.
I soecifically recieved £180 from someone in the US and have been charged £8.12 fee.
This is not in line with the 3.4% + 20p that is stated all over the site.
Anyone got any insight in to this?
Thanks in advance.

It'll depend on a few factors that could affect the payment in question. 3.4% + 20p fixed fee is indeed the standard fee for Goods and Services. However other fees that could apply are the Cross-Border fee (money going between countries) which for the US > UK would be 0.5%. There's also the currency conversion fee which doesn't always apply but could be affecting the transaction.
