Setting up a German PayPal account

Hi,

I am based in the UK and I want to open a German PayPal account so my checkout lnaguage will be in German. To do this I understand I need to open a German bank account. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to go about this? Do I need a German address or is my UK one sufficient? Can you recommend a bank/online bank ideally I guess that is easy to deal with in English? Appreaciate the benefit of any experience here as I will shortly be needing to add other langages i.e. French, Spanish, Italian.

Paypal is country specific due to differing financial rules country to county.

So you can only add UK addy / financial info / cards / bank accounts to a UK paypal account.

If you are living in another country you can open a paypal account in that country.
