To claim your payment, you'll need to sign into to PayPal

Hello,

recently   i sold my first item with ebay. But

pay pal   is asking me to make my money cliam... if i do not make my cliam, it  will eventualy send my money back.

I sighnd in to my paypal account....  there was no cliam to make.. no activity at all. I looked everywhere

 

What  is going on?

what should be done?

Firstly can you check this >>

 

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

My email adress  is all correct  everything in order.

So  ANY OTHER IDEA? .... because things  should be k but they are no.t

Some things to work through >>

 

Is the buyer in the UK or international and what currency is he using to pay you.

 

Do you have a premier / business account or a personal one?

 

Are the payments showing as pending at all in your paypal account?

 

Also is the transaction showing in your paypal account but just not showing in your balance?

 

Have you verified your paypal account?

 

Have you verified your email addy?

 

Have you linked your ebay and paypal accounts?

 

Finally do this >>

 

Go and click on this icon ">" next to your paypal balance in your paypal account summary and click on "manage currencies". Then add or re-add sterling or whatever currency you need to accept and the money may show up.

No  all is linked with paypal......   i do not recognise the ">" symbol   in what context? cannot find no currency change?

But  as you mentioned my pay pal  accoint is set to  a personal account and not business.

PS  ...ALSO  NOTHING IS SHOWWING IN MY PAYPAL   NOTHING AT ALL......  NOTHING PENDING.. NO INDACATIONS   OR DIRECTIONS   JUST EMPTY NOTHING..

 

But  pay pal have sent me emails  about and item i have sold.. and i need to cliam it.

I follow the links  to sighn in and there is nothing.

ebay  says   i Have sold the item as well.

The  Item.. i marked it as despatched.   I know someone keeps hold of the money for about a month  for new custemers  so i was told on ebay....

But paypal says i have to make the cliam or they will send back the money..

 

there is nothing showing payment pending

I do not know what is going on.

 

I send  an email to paypal for help.

saying they will contact me in24 hours.. but they replied with an automatic email  with  ready made answers.

Yes  i have just found  the currency link......   i just needed to study  and read what you siad a few times, before it became clear. yes i have changed it to Uk curency or changed it agian.

if that did not work then all i can think is you are selling on a personal account which is not allowed and so paypal are needing you to upgrade to a premier account.

 

Your best bet is to phone customer services and see if that is the problem.

 

Click on the words "Contact us" at the bottom of most paypal pages or in your paypal account summary > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.

Hello, well  i have been trying this all day and all night. I did read what you said about premium account. And it was that account that was in use for  making cliams.. NO one  told me about that. I knew nothing about diffrent pay pal accounts.

I thought it was straight forward.

I could not find A premium  paypal account. There was only buisnes.I used that instead. As i read when you sujested also when i found,another person you helped on here with the same problem.

Thats the one and to make it premier if you are not a registered business you select the "individual" option during the upgrade process.

So  thats what i did.  I slected individual option.   They are lots of videos on youtube about  premium. But they must of changed all that.  And now we have just the individual option.

 

Even so   After  becoming a (Business)  individual paypal user.  Paypal  kept saying to check my post  and click on the link to confirm my new paypal, email.   I have gone through the proceses  of pressing on links for them to send me confirmation link..

And they said they have sent my conformation mail out. But nothing has been sent out.

Nothing arives...

Maybe tomorow?.  But no cliams can be made till i confirm my email. from my own email inbox. That inbox paypal keep saying they have sent mail. But pay pal have not sent anything.

Hi Richard8,

 

Thank you for taking the time o post in our Community. I see that kernowlass already helped you with a lot of options :). I think that in your case the email address needs to be confirmed in order to claim the money on your PayPal account. You would have 30 days to claim the payment starting from the date that the payment was sent.

If you haven’t received the confirmation email I would advise to contact us so that we can either send the email to you again or that we can verify you and confirm the email address for you.
