Payment completed but seller has not received

I sent a payment on paypal a few days ago via grailed, an online marketplace website. Anyway it shows up in my activity that it has been completed and my bank statement says that the money has gone out, and showed it was completed immediately after I sent the money. However the seller says that he has not received the money.
Initially the seller said that it showed 'pending' on his side however after a fews days of the pending status, he says that it has completely disappeared from his activity (or wherever he's seeing the payment come in). So where has my money gone? It obviously went out from my account but now the seller is saying that he also cannot see anything.
And I'm 99% sure the emails involved are correct as it showed pending payment on the sellers side at first and my payment was complete

It sounds like the payment was placed on hold as part of our Funds Availbility Policy, this would mean that you have sent the payment successfully but we will hold the funds on the seller's account awaiting postage information from him. I would advise you ask the seller to contact us directly for further assistance.
