I participate in a third party website which is asking me for my paypal code in order to list my work on their site. I don't know what code they're looking for or how to find it. Any help?

Does the web site already have Add to Cart item buttons or Buy Now item buttons? If yes, then most likely all you need to do is provide your PayPal Account email address.
If, no, then you can use the online button creator from within your PayPal Account to create the item button code you need. This link explains how to get started.
