Combining shipments - Buyer already paid for each separately

Hi - Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Received payment for two items from the same buyer who had JUST asked me about combined shipping, I told him my discount and even asked that he wait for me to invoice him before paying! Ugh. Now my mailman is almost here and I want to send these in one package today.
I understand that I can just refund the guy the difference, but that only takes care of one issue. My main concern is that I'm printing postage through PayPal, but that shipment will only have the details of the ONE item on it. The other item won't be protected or tracked in any way.
How can I officially combine these so that my shipping label connects with the proper items that are being mailed?
TIA!
Lani

I would dearly love to know the answer to this question as well. I just had a buyer do this with 5 different items, even after I have tried to make it clear that if you are purchasing multiple items, DO NOT FINALIZE until I send combined invoice. I have searched eBay help and help here and am still only finding information on how to combine BEFORE they finalize.
I think I had this problem once before and was able, through a bunch of page switching and link punching to finally get the order combined, but this morning I have not yet had enough coffee to figure it out. HELP PLEASE!!!
Thanks

Go to PayPal Multi Order Shipping and ensure all of the orders are displayed that you wish to combine. Use shift or ctrl to highlight the orders you wish to combine. Under "edit" in the top bar, "Combine Orders" will now be highlighted, so click on it. When you are on the print page, you can print a packing list with all of the items displayed together and you can print the label.
Hope this helps!
