I need buyers phone number?

Usually my "Payment Received" email includes a phone number. But my email was down when that was sent, so I went back to "Payment Details" for shipping info. But there is no phone number which FedEx requires for Home Delivery.

Where can I find my buyers phone number?

If there is no phone number provided then the buyer may not have provided a phone number to paypal.  I get buyers with no phone numbers all of the time.  Some have them, some don't.  Your best bet is to email the buyer to get the phone number.  Since paypal has such a strict privacy policy (thankfully), they are not going to give it to you

Paypal requires all kinds of banking information which is a lot more invasive than requiring a contact phone number that is available for sellers to use when shipping with FedEx or any other shipping company.

I suggest PayPay change their policy.

May I require the buyer to enter a phone number in the Checkout form? If yes, how can I do that? Thx for help.

I used one of the on line help forms (sorry, don't remember which one) and asked if there was a way to require a phone number from my customers. I explained to them that I shipped via FedEx and was required to include the phone number on the bill of laden.

I did not hear back from PayPal but the next payment I received, and every one since, included a phone number in the emailed "payment notification".

I still can not find the phone number on the website but it comes in the emails.
