The resolution center won't help, I keep getting the message: Airline tickets are not eligible for dispute resolution in the Resolution Center. Please contact the airline directly to work out any issues with your transaction. I have contacted them and they say they have refunded my money, but Paypal keeps telling me they have not. I don't care who has my money I just want it back so I can purchase the ticket I need. This whole thing started because paypal charged my bank account instead of buyer credit, so really I have an unauthorized charge. I'm stuck in a nightmare that I can't wake up from, and nobody seems to care.
I am facing the same issue. I cancelled the ticket in time for a refund from Delta which they claim to have issued to PayPal. PayPal has assessed the charge of $169. Delta insists that they have refunded the money and have a reference number. I have $169 floating in cyberspace that I would like to get back. Same message, the resolution center does not apply to airline tickets. Usually get great response from PayPal, nothing so far.
Update on my refund request from Delta Airlines. I submitted a request to the following email address:
PayPal . Delta @ delta.com , without the spaces
I received a reply that the request had been made. Within a few days, I received a note from PayPal that the money had been refunded. I would certainly try that route to obtain a refund. In particular, I would request help from Ms. B. Holland. Good luck in obtaning your refund. Delta was very helpful.
