PayPal Bank Account Not There Anymore

WTF, I went through PayPal's tedious verification process with my checking account last month when I made a purchase on EBAY and now I just made another purchase today YET PAYPAL does not have my info on file anymore?

What is going on here?  Why should I have to re establish my bank account AGAIN?

Is PayPay trying to drive people crazy or what?

Yahoo cookies.....I haven't logged in using my AOL password in YEARS, yet when I went to the PayPal site PAYPAL decided to preload my AOL email info.... where they got it from makes me wonder how much internal tracking they are doing on my computer.

How does an AOL account I have never logged into on my new computer come up as my auto email??

You are not alone, I've had same bank acct. & credit card for years w/paypal.  Today they won't accept my Credit Card saying my bank refuses to back it up.  I called paypal, didn't get much help, called bank and they said all is fine, must be a glitch w/paypal.  Frustrating to say the least.  Where do you go for help???

The issue that I see is that pay pal insists on those using the system to either provide their banking information or get a pay pal credit/debit card--neither of which I am comfortable with.  I provided pay pal with a credit card from another institution for a partial verification and they initially provided a limited amount that I could tap into when I made purchases.  Since the balance was getting low, I called customer service to see how that limit could be re-established and I found out that that is a one time deal.  When that initial limit is used, you will be forced to either provide your banking information or apply for a pay pal credit/debit card.  I believe it is a conspiracy for pay pal to either force subscribers to provide information on their bank account or to subscribe to a pay pal credit card. Reading  some of the community forum issues that members have, this appears to be a wide spread issue.  I suggest all the users who have the same issue to contact as many merchants they deal with to quit using pay pal as a means of getting payment since it frustrates and limits the consumers who are forced to use pay pal and go even further and write a letter to your congress person to have them investigate how pay pal is limiting your options to conduct business under a guise of "providing security".
