USPS Express Mail NOT delivered OVERNIGHT, no refund, nowhere to turn.

I shipped packages using Express Mail on December 21st.  Most of them arrived on December 23rd, a couple on the 22nd, and one on the 24th.  I went to the post office to request a refund for the delayed deliveries and they only gave me a refund for the one delivered on the 24th.  Why?? Apparently this is because the post office didn't guarantee overnight delivery for packages shipped on the 21st.  The kind guy at the post office explained this to me and was adamant it was posted on the USPS website.  But I didn't use the USPS website, I used PayPal.  PayPal did, and still does, show the category of USPS services as:

 

"Service Type: Express Mail® (Next Day)"

 

But, since the packages weren't delivered overnight and because I didn't know about the planned delay, I made false promises telling my customers the item would be shipped "overnight."  They are demanding shipping refunds.  The post office isn't paying me back.  What to do?
