I have a personal PayPal account as I don't sell as a business. Found when I listed this time I have to accept PayPal. I have been paid with instant payments for several items. If I don't have a business account to accept credit or debit cards and am being paid from buyer's account or bank account, why am I being charged the fees. I thought those payments were free. Thanks!

If you sell something, you pay the transaction fees.
If someone simply sends you money, there are no fees.
See this Info link.

I have a personal account and have received two different payments that were "instant" payments and both times charged a fee. These were not for Ebay auctions. I used to get an email that stated that I had recevied a payment that was instant or funded by a credit/debit card and had to either accept or deny the payment. I didnt' get that on either payment. How can I dispute the charges and who do I dispute them with?
