squarespace.com works with paypal?

I'm thinking of building my website with squarespace.com, but they don't have a shopping cart built into the site. They said that paypal has a way for my customers to purchase items. How does this work?

You need to do some homework first.

Next, if you plan to be a seller, you will need either a Premier or Business Account and sign up for PayPal's Website Payments Standard.   PayPal also has an online button creator which is accessed through your Account.  You can use this tool to generate basic Add to Cart, Buy Now, Donation and Subscription item button code.  This is all explained in the above mentioned documentation.    And you find tutorials to help you out here.
