Hi,
I hav received the 1p deposit in my bank account however there is no 4 digit code there, the description of the payment. There is 15 numbers before the words Paypal Settlement Cycle.
Am I missing something here?

Hello. Can anyone advise please?
i have reached my sending limit and have tried twice now to verify my bank account without luck. Deposit of 0.01 showing up on statement but NO CODE!!
Today I removed my bank account and re-added it and set up another direct debit instruction. I've just checked my account and the 0.01 deposit is there but NO CODE!!!
don't know what else to do now - please advise.

As an update, went into my bank this morning to see if they could find code. Cashier spent 15 minutes trying to find a code attached to transaction but says PayPal never sent code.
i don't know what to do! Is an someone please give me any tips?

If you find the option to "take a closer look at your bank statement" the code is part of the name of sender (Paypal)
I had to look at "a history of my transactions"

hi there, something similar has happened to me, i have no numbers at all, it just says bank giro credit paypal, can anyone shed some light on this as im waiting for money to be transferred into the account thanks

As far as I have been advised some of the codes are not appearing on online or mini statements. If you request a paper statement you should see it on there.
Also please be advised that you do not need a confirmed bank account to withdraw funds only to add funds however if you are going to withdraw funds before confirming your bank be sure that the information you have registered for your bank account is correct.

That is good to know, but what do I do if it doesn't appear on my paper statement (I'm still waiting for this)? With my bank, whatever I see online is usually exactly the same as the pape statement.
This looks like it's Paypal's problem but it's impossible to email paypal about this because when you choose the subtopic "Confirming bank account" you have to choose one of the following:
I have received a £.01 GBP deposit with a four-digit code from PayPal
I have received two random deposits from PayPal
If neither are the case, you cannot send the email. It is very frustrating - and in my opinion ridiculous - that there is no way of contacting them if you HAVEN'T received a code.
