As per the title really! I've tried on several occasions several weeks apart to request that the code is sent to my bank account so that it can be confirmed / verified, but nothing at all appears in my account. Is this a common problem, is there a reason for this not working? I was thinking of removing my bank account details and then adding them in again as new to see if it makes any difference, but didn't want to try that without checking if there's another way forward with this. Thanks for any suggestions anyone can offer!

Hi there,
In most cases, bank confirmation can be completed within minutes, but can occasionally be delayed for a number of reasons. These include; additional processing time at the bank; a security concern with your PayPal account or a technical issue.
As I cannot open your account, I will provide advice for all three situations.
A. Some banks can take 3-4 working days to process a bank transfer. You should consult your bank to check if any transfers have been made or if any are en route to your account.
B. PayPal may have detected suspicious activity with the bank account. In this case, no deposits would be made and the bank would also be removed from your PayPal account with a prompt to contact customer service.
C. There may be an issue with the confirmation process. If you continue to experience this issue with no progress, please contact PayPal UK customer support to look into it further.
Please note; Each time a linked bank account is removed from PayPal, it is recorded on the security system. If you remove it and attempt re-link more than once or twice, it could cause the bank account to become blocked within a 30 day period or even permanently in some cases. Please refrain from this unless instructed by a PayPal support representative.
I hope that this can be resolved for you soon.
Best Wishes,
Jason C
