Unable to confirm my personal information and lift the receiving limit due to technical problem.

Please help.

Every time I try to confirm my personal information so that I can lift my receiving limit it always comes up with a error message saying, "A technical problem prevents us from completing the confirmation process now. Please try again later." I have been trying to confirm my personal information for a few days now and I was just wondering why this is happening.

Same here, Been trying to lift limits with same error messege everytime, Oh well no more buying or selling on ebay for me, Their loss.

Yes, me too! I saw the message yesterday and I have tried a couple of times to resolve it but I keep getting the same message!

Ok, I resolved this problem by calling up customer services yesterday.

The guy on the phone (Kevin) was every helpful with helping me progressing through the steps of lifting the receiving limit on my account and sent me an email will everything I needed.

All I can suggest to others is to call PayPal customer services and they will help you out.

Hi Guys,

We are aware that some of our customers are receiving an error message when confirming their personal information. Our technical team are working on it. I would suggest the same as ASOTaddict suggested to contact us by phone as we do have an alternative but we must receive contact from you directly to update your account.

What about those who do not have a landline and cannot afford to ring the 0870 number from a PAYG mobile, I even had the confirmation code letter the other day, But NOWHERE to enter it as yet again an error on the confirmation process page caused the "Unable to confirm by post" ticked green..

There is just no light at the end of this confusing and annoying tunnel..

Hi there Stapler,

I realise that a lot of people are not happy having to ring PayPal if they have a pay as you go mobile phone. There is no alternative free phone number at this time and this would be the quickest way to resolve the issue.

I will have a look in to this for you and contact you offline.

I have completed all request for lifting limits and waited letter for adress confirmation.

all boxes are ticked in green.

and no were to enter that code on the letter.

can someone look at this as it taking so long and no ending.

Yes I'm now verified it says on my status.

But when I click view limits it says 1,900 per year.

My Acc is premier.

When click lift my limits now it asking to upload docs.

So no idea why I was sent a letter confirming address then .

Ok I will upload documents but no idea which one I need .
