It sounds like it may be your card issuer blocking the transaction. If your abroad your card issuers internal security system may block the transaction for security purposes. Your card issue can also block payment for certain gambling or gaming websites. This can depend on your card issuer and not all card issuers allow these payments to complete.
I would recommend that you contact them by phone and ask to speak to the online authorisation department. This department should be able to confirm any online denials and clarify the reason why.
