2fa when purchasing at AliExpress via PayPal

I have made a purchase Using of 2FA when purchasing at AliExpress via PayPal.

My PayPal account is protected by 2-step verification.

I recently made a purchase with Alli Express through PayPal and the system confirmed the purchase on PayPal without receiving an SMS for confirmation.

DID Someone encountered a similar phenomenon and how to avoid it?
I will note that at the entrance to PayPal the system always requires 2fa by sms
