Cannot see prompt in the iPhone app to confirm identity

I am adding Paypal as a Payment option to Coinbase, it says Open the PayPal app on your phone and follow the prompt to continue. I opened the Paypal notification on my phone and I see no prompt whatsoever. How do I fix this?

I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues confirming your identity on your PayPal app. Have you tried opening the notification while already being logged into your PayPal app? Or potentially deleting and re-downloading the app? If those don't lend any help, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. I have tried many things including the solutions you mentioned. Deleting the app, re-logging in, ... did not work. The notification shows up whenever I registered Paypal as the Payment Method in Coinbase but there is no prompt when I click it.

It's been a week and I try again every single day and the app still can't show me the prompt to verify my identity with Coinbase.

I am really struggling and hope this issue will be resolved soon.

I have the same issue, i see the notification, when i click on it the app opens but there is nothing to confirm

Sorry to hear that you're not able to complete the confirmation process. I suggest you to try completing the confirmation process by accessing your PayPal account through a browser. Identity confirmation steps will be available in the resolution center or in the notification tab. To add PayPal as a Payment option to Coinbase, you need to have a verified PayPal account and your our PayPal account’s country must match your Coinbase account’s country. If the issue persists, please contact the support team to look into this further.
