How to stop eBay auto logging into my PayPal Account?

When I buy something from eBay and pay using PayPal, recently, PayPal hasn't asked me for my password.

I would like PayPal to ask for my password every time.

I have read an archived thread in the community titled 'Delete PayPal auto log-in from eBay' but this hasn't worked for me.

I have made sure that PayPal One Touch is turned off for all devices but I made a purchase in eBay today and again, PayPal didn't ask me for a password.

There is no option to unlink my account inside eBay settings.

Can anyone tell me how I can make PayPal ask for my password every time I make a purchase through eBay?

I use a laptop with Windows 10. I never buy anything from eBay using my phone's eBay app.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with your login process through eBay. I'd recommend double-checking the section "Stay logged in for faster purchases" under Profile Settings. There you should be able to manage any auto-logins saved. 

From there, I'd recommend clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history as well as it's auto-fill settings to make sure its not auto-filling your password info.

I did what you suggested and unfortunately eBay is still opening my PayPal account without a password.

I'm worried that having no password prompt to access my PayPal account could lead to fraudulent activity, it's almost the same as having no security check to my bank account.

Any further suggestion would be welcome.
