Issue. PayPal does not see the phone number I added for verification

Good afternoon. I changed the phone number in my profile. I set up a new phone number and also confirmed it via SMS. But when I try to log in, I can only log in using the code from two-factor verification. The system doesn’t see a phone number. Also, when I try to link a card or bank account, I am prompted to confirm my action by SMS, but my number is simply not on this list. Although it is linked to my profile. I added and removed it 2 times and the problem persists.

What could be the reason and how can I fix it?
