Not able to create an PayPal account

Hello everyone, My friend has only first name. There is no surname or second name or middle name. That's why, he is not able to create an PayPal account. What should he do?

Sadly you need two names to open a paypal account.

What about his passport, docs, ID?

PayPal will ask for them to confirm sooner or later.

Ask to check the documents for his full name.

Or name both First and Last Name the same way.

I'm talking based on government Identity Card evidence. And he has same name in Bank account also(only first name. There is no surname or second name or middle name). Let PayPal ask proofs. We can provide government Identity Card evidence to PayPal but unfortunately there is no other option to upload government Id card during creating PayPal account.

Some folks in some countries ONLY have 1 name, Paypal has already stated previously you need 2 names to open a Paypal account.
