PayPal asking for business license

So I registered a PayPal business account and for account type I selected Sole Proprietor, which means I will sell under my own name instead of a registered business. Everything went well during the registration, and business license number was optional. However aftering registering the account I got a warning saying 'We need more information to resolve a problem with your account', and there I was asked to upload my ID photo, proof of address and my business license. I don't have a business license and I have not been asked to provide one when registering the account, but now I need to upload one to use my account. Is there any solution for this?

And by the way is PayPal premier account still available? Or the sole proprietor business account has replaced the premier account?

Thank you

If you’re not a registered company at all, you select “individual” as the business type or was ”individual” not an option?

Anyway, write a note explaining the situation and that you are not a registered business, just individual person selling/receiving business payments. Pdf the note and upload to the request. Or call customer services for assistance.

PayPal still uses the term “premier” account in the user agreements but have merged premier accounts with personal accounts so that personal accounts can do casual sales or premier accounts might be available for certain countries. I am not sure which ones though.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
