I have a donate button on my website that links to the url for a hosted PayPal button. When I'm in the Chrome browser, I cannot get past the "I'm nota robot" recaptcha screen after clicking on the donate button. It keeps flashing. I am not able to enter anything nor escape out. It's an endless loop. If i click on the website's donate button from another browser, it works correctly.
How do I fix this?
Thanks.

My problem appears to have been caused by the Disable HTML5 Autoplay extension.
I disabled that extension and the reCAPTCHA "I'm not a robot" button appeared on the page.

That was my problem to0 - no wonder I couldn't find it. I do wish they would stop trying to be clever with HTML and just let things be functional.

I HAD to resolve this as my main source of income is internet sales.
I use a completely different browser for PayPal, Torch for me, while I use Chrome for most everything else.
Delete all the cookies in your browser.
Then once you get into PayPal go to your security settings and set up the 2 step verification where it sends a text to your cell phone. I now its still a pain in the **bleep** but so far, I only get maybe one captcha after that and usually none at all. just the phone deal. I can live with that until they get this worked out.
I have lived through many painful changes with papal this to shall pass.
Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion. My problem is when my customers try to pay by paypal from my website when they are using the chrome browser. These workarounds are fine for me but not for my customers.

Same issue for me. What resolves the loop is usually deleting paypal cookies while its looping. It will crash the loop, and you can continue your business with a refresh.

I had the same issue for using Chrome. I was running a browser extension that disables video autoplay on facebook. Once I disabled the browser extension, no more issues.

Been having this issue for past several months. Sometimes I can get in when I use my True Key password keeper as the link to get in. This is ridiculous and so much trouble to just pay a bill.

Same here in Vivaldi 😞 In Edge no problem though.
Ever since Paypal got to use Recaptcha, it's so often not good. Plus it's a 100% annoying thing too. Literary spending a minute clicking on bikes, cars, traffic lights, fire hydrants, and so on.
And now again I see because because I can submit this, there is that I'm not a robot thing again.
I really do hate Recaptcha so much 😞
